Counselling for Depression and Anxiety Warrington

When you are feeling depressed or anxious, it can sometimes be difficult to leave the house or be around others. This can make it difficult for you to try to shift your body out of these states. Attending classes can also be expensive, so this can also be off-putting.

Doing yoga at home can be a simple way to move your mind and body forward calmly and relax. Yoga is not just for women, it can be a brilliant form of movement for men as well!

I often suggest that people try Jessica Richburg's bedtime yoga routine. You will find the link below. The good news is that it's FREE, and you can do it from the comfort of your own home in comfy clothing—you can even do it in your PJ's if you wish. You will need a yoga mat, but you can pick these up really cheaply online or in stores now.

Watch her video initially so you can understand and see the yoga positions & only do positions that you feel comfortable with. Yoga is not about comparing yourself to others or overstretching. It's a time and space for you to learn how to switch your mind off from negative self-talk and control racing thoughts.
